Please be advised that our local Chicago Police Department’s (CPD) 12th District has informed us of two planned public gatherings taking place Thursday, May 27, 2021.

“FTP at the FOP: Autonomous F12 Noise Demo”

Unknown Hours, Protest, Union Park (1501 W. Randolph Street). The group will assemble regarding their campaign "FTP at the FOP: Autonomous F12 Noise Demo." 

“Adam Toledo Tribute Mural Vigil”

4:00PM, Vigil, 3661 West Ogden Avenue.  The group will assemble regarding their campaign “Adam Toledo Tribute Mural Vigil.”

As always, the West Loop Community Organization (WLCO) advocates for a Chicago that is safe for everyone, everywhere; and we recognize the right to peaceful public assembly as enshrined in the Illinois Constitution's Bill of Rights, Article I, Section 5: “The people have the right to assemble in a peaceable manner, to consult for the common good, to make known their opinions to their representatives and to apply for redress of grievances.”
