"Stay At Home" Order Extended Through May 30

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced today that the current "stay at home" order will be extended with modification through May 30 at a signing next week. All Illinois residents will continue to be prohibited from certain activities, and non-essential businesses will still remain closed.

The Paycheck Protection Program is designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on payroll by providing each small business a loan up to $10 million for payroll and certain other expenses. If all employees are kept on payroll for eight weeks, SBA will forgive the portion of the loans used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities. Up to 100 percent of the loan is forgivable to small businesses.

Effective Saturday: "Stay At Home" Order Throughout The State Of Illinois

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced Friday that a "stay at home" order will go into effect Saturday at 5PM until April 7, 2020. All Illinois residents are prohibited from leaving their homes except to purchase groceries and fuel, seek medical care, walk outside, repair infrastructure, and travel to and perform essential work. All local roads, including the interstate highways and tollways, will remain open to traffic. Chicago Public Libraries and Parks will close.
